I was given Doxy last week..I missed a dosage this past Wed night..nd tried to double up yesterday a.m. but threw it up about 9ish..so I called my Doc and she prescribed me 1gm of Azithromycin..I took it yesterday evening after dinner..is this still going to be affective? Or should I have waited till today? I only had 2 days left for the Doxy..but my Doc said if I wasnt still feeling nauseated I could take it.

you were treated for gonorrhea and chlamydia both actually.

you only had to wait 1 week until resuming sex.

have you both been tested for syphilis, herpes and hiv too? If not, only having protected sex is probably in your best interest until you've covered all the testing bases properly.

I contracted chlamydia from my boyfriend who didnt know that he had the STD which he caught from a previous relationship. He got tested and treated Dec.9th and I got treated Dec.11th. We both got the shot and the 4 pills ( Rocephin 125mg and Azithromycin 1gram orally ). Its been two weeks for us already and i just wanna know are we safe to have sexual intercourse?

If you took azithromycin in one dose, that would take up to around 7 days to fully work.  If you took doxycycline for 7 days, it will be cured by the time you are finished those meds.

I'm guessing, maybe, that you were being treated for chlamydia and had sex too soon.  If that's the case, your partner should be told to test.  If your partner was being treated and you had sex too soon, you should test.

If you and your partner were both being treated, and you had sex before a week passed, you should talk to your doctor and see if you both should be retreated.
