Vancee2335 is well versed on this business, I have nothing more to add.
interesting to know, thanks.
If you treat something you don't have a number of different things can happen...from nothing at all to actually causing symptoms even though you have no infection.
Side effects from antibiotics can be a number of different things.
really? is that possible? i hoped that the pills would be effective even if taken before any symptoms appeared.
do antibiotics sometimes cause these sympotms? i find zithromax really does a number on my digestive system. especially as it was given in a single high dose 2000mg. i never really thought about the antibiotics being the root of the symptoms. it's 7 days since i took them, and i didn'tget any symptoms unitl after i took them, but i figured it was the incubatin period of the std also, and maybe i'd taken the pills too soon like i said.
The antibiotics might hve worked but they might actually be causing the symptoms currently.
Wait 2 weeks after the medication is finished. If symptoms still are present then follow up with your Dr.
unprotected vaginal,
they didnt test right away, i was treated the day after exposure with zithromax as the dr thought it was a safe assumption given i had unprotected sex. i didn' t know if that was too soon for the pills. i know it takes up to a week to test posative but if i'm treated before i have symptoms should it not stop it in advance? or would the antibiotics be useless?
i went back a week later due to the sore testicle and clear sticky discahrge, and they tested this time and said they thought i was ok for stds, as i was treated already. but something is wrong. sore testicle that looks out of place. and any discharge can't be good, even though it is clear and looks like semen. happens mostly after i have a bowel movement, but after i urinate sometimes i stop peeing, a little more comes out about 30 seconds later
It sounds like you tested too early for Chlamydia, the window period is about 7 days post potential exposure. zithromax should take care of it, if (emphasis on if) you caught it. Your doctor/medical provider should be able to tell you if you have a prostate problem.
What was your exposure? protected/unprotected vaginal/oral sex?
