what symptoms should I watch for

I had unprotected sex with a lady over a year ago. I went and got tested and came back negetive for chlamydia and gonorreha. I still feel like I might have something as I have a lower back ache and feel different in some way. I noticed the end of my penis is a blotchy color but have no pain urinating or cumming. What should I be looking at/for or is this just all stress related? Thanks

Cipro does not cure every std.  And again.  You do not always get symptoms of all std's.  Herpes is so common that 1out of 5 people have it and most of them do no know they do because of lack of noticeable symptoms like visible sores.  Syphilis is the same.  It can take up to 90 days to get a syphilis sore and If I am correct, that does not always happen.  Many people do not know they have it until they are in the 2nd or third stage. (SYPHILIS IS RARE IN THE U.S. ANYWAY).  You cannot rely on symptoms.  Bottom line is you had unprotected sex over a year ago.  You are now concerned about std's.  Because you had unprotected sex, you have a possibility of having contracted something and not having symptoms.  Do yourself a favor and get tested for your peace of mind.  Then you will know for sure and can move on.

Also, my Dr. had me on cipro  for prostitis for 60 days. If I had a STD, would this kill anything I might/could have had? Thanks again.

If you have HSV1 or 2, would you not have some sort of sores? Even with syphilis. I have no noticeable sore anywhere on my body. Just a bit of a sore lower back, and the head of my penis is discolored.  And no pain in penis area.

At this point, you should test for HIV, HSV1 and HSV2, syphilis and hepatitis.  Those are the std's that may not present in symptoms for extended periods of time if they do at all.  If you get a negative result and since it has been more than a year since this encounter, I would trust in your test results afterward.
