Thanks for the advice Vince. I have a follow up appointment with Dr. in next 9 days (after my tests are back) and i would narrate the incident to him.
As far as my sore throat goes, it is still there - however, since day 1 i had no problem in swallowing, breathing, talking it's just that i feel that sensation in the throat (may be it's more psychological or may be there is really some medical problem).Dr was pretty sure that my tests will be negative, he also inspected my lymph nodes and said they are as normal as they can be for a human being. However, the sore throat hasn't gotten any worse since day 1 neither has it got any better, it has stayed put.
"I swear to the dearest thing on this earth, i would never never never do this again. Please protect them this one time."
You would not get yeast infecton on any part of your body, you might have gotten it in the mouth if she did have one. Yeast infection is not a STD.
Yes it would have been wise to tell the Dr what happened and if you have a follow up appointment I would do so just so he/she can come up with other ideas if you are having any issues.
Thanks much Vance.
In fact today i had an apt with Dr. he says that i don't have any bacterial infection which immediately made me believe that Throat Gonorrhea and bacterial STDs are out, but since i insisted he took CBC (DIFF/PLT) and couple of tests for the respiratory virus - the tests will be back in another 7-10 days - no tests for bacterial ones though. However, there is one mistake i did in that i didn't mention the sexual encounter with Dr, may be that would have given him a second thought.
Vance, you mentioned yeast infection - i didn't develop any skin infection it's been over 4 days now , would it be safe to assume that i am out of danger of any yeast infection ?
Appreciate your help, Thanks!
1. Risk was very very low for a STD...the discharge was probably a yeast infection which could transmit to you. With annilingius you can get bacteria from that. I would see a Dr and get the throat looked but I doubt that it is a STD.
2. HIV community has the best answers for HIV related questions.
I had the answer from one of the members on HIV in HIV forum (sorry for posting dupes, i did it there since in STD forum i read that it is not for HIV) he says that HIV can't be contacted by the method i suggested and i don't need a test.
Would appreciate if someone could answer my query on the STDs and if someone has a second opinion on possibility on HIV. Thanks.
