gonorrhea and cephalexin

Hello. Tested positive for gonorrhea on 3/4 - I believe due to receiving oral sex around 2/20. I was not symptomatic until 3/1. I had unprotected vaginal intercourse w/ my girlfriend in the days before I became symptomatic. My girlfriend had been taking cephalexin 4 times a day from 2/24 until a day or so ago (she had a minor dental procedure and was prescribed the cephalexin I'm assuming to prevent infection). Would the cephalexin have treated any potential gonorrhea infection? Thanks

Vance is right.  Especially that she is a woman and women tend to not get symptoms that are noticeable. The medication may have supressed it not necessarily curing it.

It is possible but it is not the recommend treatement. You would have to have her test to be certain.
