Risk of STDs after unprotected anal sex

Hi.
I've recently had anal sex for the first time without a condom. My partner didn't ejaculate at all and to the naked eye, I saw no precum. Neither of us have been tested for STD's because I'm a virgin, and he has only had sex twice. With the two partners he has had, he's used a condom both times, and has never given, or received oral sex before. I wanted to know, based on his limited sexual experience (and the fact that neither of his parents have HIV or any other STDs) what is the likelihood that he has a disease (low, moderate, high)? I also wanted to know that if he DOES have An STD somehow, with no precum or ejaculation, what is the likelihood of me catching it?

When would be a good time for both of us to get tested, like how long should we wait from today?

continued...any vaginal issues your having would not be related to anal sex.

Having unprotected anal sex is high risk activity for HIV and a person can contract it in a single exposure. Dont believe what anyone says about their past sexual history. Unless you were there as saw with your own eyes.

In women there are loads of causes for vaginal discharge. In fact a clear or milky white discharge is actually considered normal, as long as it's not accompanied by itching or burning which you say has totally subsided?

I think that an STI check up would be a good idea still, in order to rule out sexual infection. I still don't think any STI is to blame but only testing would confirm.

Hi shandy, it's been 2 days post exposure and I have no itching, burning, or discomforting sensations, urination is comfortable, and my discharge ranges from clear to a very milky white, nothing yellow or chunky. What do you think?

Bacterial infections can indeed show up soon after exposure however a matter of hours is very soon.
Chlamydia doesn't often show symptoms in females, in fact over 70% don't know they have it.
Sometimes there can be bleeding when there isn't meant to be.
In my opinion your gender doesn't change the urgency as I really don't think you've put yourself at much risk.
Wait at least a week before testing for anything bacterial.

I didn't know that until just now aha. I only corrected my gender because I was wondering if that would change the urgency/necessity for me to see a doctor?

The burning sensation went away promptly, and my discharge seems normal. It's only been a few hours post exposure, however, I imagine that bacterial infections unmask themselves quite early, kind of like vaginitis and yeast infection.

There are numerous causes for burning urination, some sexually transmitted and some not.
At this point I think you should see a DR and get tested. It's highly possible you think passing urine is burning a little when in fact you're just over analysing.
I suppose if you damaged your penis from the encounter it could cause discomfort while peeing but I don't think so.

It burned a little when I urinated post exposure. Could that be due to the irritation of having anal for the first time ?

Untreated chlamydia infections can cause complications in women but not so much in men. If you are worried you have something take the test and if it turns out you have chlamydia it's very easy to treat. (Two pills, no sex for a week) and then you can move on.

As I've said though your exposure poses almost no risk in my opinion.

Taking everything you've said into account, there is a very small risk of any STIs. Remember, most people don't have any STIs. And considering your partners safety previous to this and your virginity, it's very unlikely.
However, like a day a small risk is still a risk. You could get tested for the common infections like chlamydia pretty soon after, even a week after would probably show up in a urine sample. As for herpes you would need wait around 3 months for a blood test to be conclusive.

Really though, I don't think you have much to worry about.
