i am now very CONFUSED

hello.... today just went and got hsv results.... negative! last week the RPR and TPHA for syphilis also negative.... but just incase doctor gave me 2 grams of azithromycin to take... i took it 3 days ago and now the ucler which scabbed is still the same size and still on the shaft of my penis...... today doctor said give it up to 14 days to heal, but before told me it should have gotten noticeably smaller by the 2-3rd day after taking azithromycin.... also last night when i was sleeping i had left testicle aches or discomfort (not really hurt, yet just annoying... it shifted from my penis to my testicle....) I had it all day today... asked doctor today, he said could be the azithromycin, give it a couple of days.... however that is not on the side effects list of the azithromycin..... is this related to my ulcer... and what the hell is the cause of my ulcer if it is not syphilis and hsv... and so far azithromycin has not had the healing effect the doc said?

Talk with your Dr, we can't tell you what the cause of something is if your getting negative results.
