hi...m a male! a year back i hd got what looked liked an ingrown hair just at the base of my penis lower side....after a week since it remained the same i showed it to my physician and he said these words " as long as its outside its not a problem" n he prescribed me Tab Mahacef XL (200mg) 10tabs for twice a day. can someone tell me did he prescibe this for syphilis? or only gonorhea?i m from india. My next question is does a syphilis rash that appears on the chest spread to other parts also? coz i hd once i would call a heat rash(eating pork sausages in a small portion for almost a month) w/o any fever,pain,malaise etc. my physician prescribed some medication n the rash disappeared in a day.....so can someone tell me what always accompanies the syphilictic chest rash? thnks in advance!
