its been 7 days and symptons are not getting better

Hi,

I am 33 years old and I was with a girl a week ago and the condom broke.  A couple of days afterwards I started to have a burning sensation on the shaft of my penis and then I noticed some sporadic spots  of dry skin. The skin flaked off and at the area are red marks..not raised or fluid fill just red spots.  I asked the girl about it and she mentioned she has a yeast Infection.  Did I catch a Yeast infection?  or something else?   It feels like its burning on the shaft but no penile discharge, fever or pain while urination.  Or did a get a infection from the condom...second time I used one in a year.

Thanks

Yeah it could be fungal, and you should get this checked by your doc.

It could also be an allergic reaction to the lube on the condom.

I do know that males can get and transmit yeast infections back and forth between them and their partner.  But i'm not sure about this part or not but there is another form of a yeast infection called thrush and you might want to research about that but you may want to talk to a professional about it. hope that helps..
