it's been a year

Married, 10 yrs.  Had oral and vaginal sex with CSW.  All was protected.  8 days after encounter, tested for HIV, Hep B, Syphillis, Chlamydia, Gonnorea, and Herpes 1 and 2.  Everything came back nevagtive, other than HSV 1 and 2.  During the month of May 2008, I was on a 14 day antibiotic treatment for H Pylori.  I then took a Z-Pack for Strep throught, but still had not had any relations with wife.   In July of 2008, I restested for HSV, and came up Positive for Oral Herpes, but Negative for Genital Herpes.  Fast forward to this year.  Since then I have taken Another Z-Pack treatment, and 1 g of Penecillin for unrelated issues.  I have been experiencing slight pain and throbing as well as urethra soreness.  Should I worry about anything having to do with May 2008 encounter?  Should I retest?  If I was exposed to any of the bacterial Infections, would the different Antibiotic treatments rid me of the infection?  Any other advice?

Gonorrhea and chlamydia will show up on a test within 3-5 days.  Your test at 8 days was plenty of time for that.

I think you need to move beyond an std as a cause of this, and follow up with your doctor.

Your antibiotics would probably have cured an std, so I really wouldn't worry about that.  Plus, you had protected everything.  You weren't really at risk anyway.

I've always heard 48 hours for Chlamydia and Gon.  Syphilis i know should be longer, but both Syphilis and Herpes are symptomatic.  I am curious if after 1 yr I would know I have something?  Plus with all the antibiotics, I'm curious if I would have killed any bacteria, and if I did have something, wouldn't I have given it to my wife by now and one of us had some type of symptom?

testing 8 days after encounter is not efective the accurate results can be  after testing in proper time after the encounter for ganorreha, chlamidia is 3-4 weeks after the encounter for sypilis, 8 weeks and for HIV 3 months  you have had protected sex you may have nothing to worry about even if you dont test but syphilis and herpes can be contracted via oral.
