kissed by stripper

During a lap dance 10 days ago the stripper decided to stick her tongue down my throat and kiss me (lasted about 3 seconds)  I had talked to her for awhile before the dance and she did not have any lesions on her lips.   Next morning I felt my lips tingling (i have had cold sores as a kid).  This then turned into slightly buring and chapped lips the next day and white tongue, the last three mornings my tongue has been dry as can be and like sandpaper.  My anxiety is high now also.

I know the extremely low risk of std transmittion through kissing, but is their any known fungal or yeast infection that can pass this way?

Is there anything else that this could be?

Dude, the exact same thing happened to me!!! I was getting a lap dance from a stripper and I french kissed her. The next day, my tongue started to feel dry and slightly itchy.. a couple of days later it seemed to be getting worse, my tongue got whiter and even the sides of my mouth roof got really dry too. I am 100% sure I caught something but I dont know what it is as my tongue had never felt like that before. At first I thought it was a fungal infection or oral thrush so I have been using anti-fungal cream but it didnt help at all. Pleaase I want help!

Thanks to all,  I am hoping and thinking you are all right.   Just hard to wake up and have sandpaper tongue every  morning and feel ok about myself.
I am happily married and trying to stay positive and thinking it may be just stress bringing this all on,  but if so it is amazing how real stress can make you physcially feel

Thank you!!

I got your note and I agree with both JessyJames2010 and Vance2335 that this is a no risk event. Kissing carries no transmission of either yeast infections, HIV, fungal infections, or any std transmissions. You have anxiety to the point in which you are convinced you have something but, you have been assured from three persons  that you do not have anything to worry about at all. If you want, you can go to the doctor and that is if you want to but, you really have nothing to worry about.

Hello.

I think you "white tongue" has NO relation to what happened between you and the stripper.     As Vance said you were at NO risk.   Please believe him.

Also, I had  a "white tounge" this morning, ...used a flat tooth brush to get rid of it.

"if a person had bleeding gums there could be a slight chance of passing HIV."...you are wrong.

See a Dr and discuss symptoms. Maybe yeast infection/thrush.

thanks for the re-assuance on the std.   Any idea on the white tongue though?  ever heard of anything non-std passing this way?

I would never say there is no risk,  if a person had bleeding gums there could be a slight chance of passing HIV.  Also Genital Herpes simplex two (although very rarely) it is my understanding has a slight possibliity of being passed through kissing.  But that is not what I am thinking of at this time.  Just wondering more about fugus or yeast or if anyone has heard of this problem?

Very possibly just in my head, but the tingling I woke up with on my lips before I even started to think about the stripper kissing me
