Not sure..

I have this red mark/bump on my groin, Ive had it for 6 months, there's no hair to pull out so i don't know if its an ingrown hair, I was sexually active about 6 months ago and I had it in my last relationship. It hasn't spread, its pretty much painless unless i try to squeeze it and irritate it, when i do a little bit of juice comes out and it smells very similar to vaginal fluid ( I guess?) Im also a male. Is this an STD? or some sort of infection? or possibly an ingrown hair I just cant find the hair to? Im in the midst of a new relationship and Im not doing anything until I know what this is, it just wont go away. Thanks!

If you have no lesions like those of HSV-2 and syphilis you probably don't have it.  Syphilis is rare amongst heterosexuals, and HSV-2 is very obvious when you have it. The thing is most people won't just believe that --they want to see a test.  I for sure wasted my money testing for them, when I had low risk.  Sounds like your in rational state of mind, your probably correct that is a razor bump or ingrown thing.

Sigh* about the insurance health system, I hear you on that one.

Best of luck,

I read up on the two STDS and it doesn't seem to be close to either of them. I think it appeared after I shaved once. Im just not sure if its possible to have a razor bump or ingrown hair for this long. Id love to go to a health-care provider but I don't get my insurance until September! Ill try the expert forums another day, Thanks for the information. If anyone has had any similar experiences please, enlighten me.

We can't know for sure what it is, and I certainly could not tell you online.  If you want a doc's response go to expert forum and they'll give you a more expert advice.

I commmend you for this statment.  Best thing to do is to go to a STD clinic and say this exact line to your doctor/nurse/healthprovider and get tested for gential uclerative diseases; the main ones are HSV-2 and syphilis.

Best of luck,
