need help (SEX DISEASES) - going to thailand!!!

hi guys,

I need to ask a personal question... and i hope some of use can help me out... I am going to thailand tommorrow for a holiday with a bunch of freinds that are specifically going for 1 reason - sex...

I have never ****** a prostitute before... but i think my testorone will kick in, and i pretty much guarantee myself that I wont be able to last... expecially being in the same room with 3 other guys all *******....

I did a google search on the internet and noticed that their is a huge percentage of aids in thailand... so i went to the doctor and told him about my holiday, and the fact that i was worried about catching some disease by having sex with prostitutes... (he just said wear a condom... and you should be fine... but i didnt think he cared that much because the entire time i was there.... he was talking about how he goes to thailand every 3months... and telling me that i should be able to do 3-5 girls a day... times it by the 22 days i am there for... and saying that i should be able to do atleast 100 girls etc....)

So i am asking for you's guys to help... if i do the following;
i) wear 2 condoms - the entitre time, just to be safe (even when she's giving me head just incase she has a cut in her mouth)
ii) never go down on a chick or lick her ***** out...
iii) dont kiss her...

Is it possible for me to catch any of the following diseases;
i) aids
ii) any other disease that could severly impact my life - such as death etc..
iii) any other critical diseases such as - Hepititas A, B, C  etc...
iv) any severe sexual transmitted diseases (STD's etc..)???

thanks for any help guys...

1. Do not wear two condoms at the same time!  You'll end up creating friction between the two and breaking both.
2. Oral sex many consider not to be a risk, but when dabbling with sex workers I would not do oral without a condom.  Definitely never go down on a girl or kiss a sex worker because you can get herpes.

Condoms can protect you from most STDs and HIV but it won't protect you from things like HPV and Herpes, so if you are concerned about STDs such as these I would be abstain from sex with sex workers or proceed with extreme caution (see below)!

I just came back from a two week vacation to Thailand and Cambodia, and I must say, personally I am living in regret!!!  If you are going to have sex with a sex worker I advise that you slow down on your drinking beforehand because sex and alcohol does not work in SE Asia.  In Cambodia I got **** drunk and ended up making out with a sex worker and had two condoms break on me while having sex.  Since then I have been stressed beyond belief and have panic attacks every other day.  So far I haven't caught anything, but I have been having weird symptoms.  (Not sure whether it is from actually catching something or from my mind playing tricks on me)

But don't let my experience deter you from what you want to do.  I have two friends that went with me that enjoyed sex with sex workers and moved back into their normal lives once they got home.  One of my friends is a doctor too!  I just have alot of anxiety and tend to think the worst.

Here is my advice:  Inspect before diving in!  (My friend who is a doctor told me this and it apparently works for him because he has gone across the world slanging his ****)  Basically if she has a bump or something funny looking around her mouth, do mess with her.  Even if it looks like a pimple don't risk it.  When you take her back, flip on the lights and **** her legs up and look!  I'm serious!!  If she won't let you then cancel her.  Any bumps, ulcers or lesions, you gotta back out.  No Questions!  This is why it is important not to drink too much otherwise these steps get forgotten.  On a side note- Really though these steps and practices should be done wherever and with whomever you mess with.  SE Asia is no different then other countries with regards to Herpes and HPV.  In fact America is probably worse with its statistics regarding these two STDs.

Also Hepatitis is wide-spread in SE Asia, so if you are going to have sex, being vaccinated for Hep B is definitely good before you go.

A good and a bad thing about the practices in SE Asia:  Girls in SE Asia will take a shower before sex and they will expect you to do the same.  The good thing about this is that it will probably wash off any shedding that girl may have that can transmit things like herpes.  The bad thing is that water tends to dry out a woman's vagina, which is bad for condoms.  My advice would be that you wait about 5 minutes after the woman takes a shower to proceed with intercourse.  This should give her vagina some time to moisturize her own vagina with the best lubricant: vaginal fluid.  I made the mistake of jumping right in and breaking my condom!

Hope this helps

Regarding your questions,
1) I don't think wearing two condoms is a good idea - I think the friction could increase the probability that the condom will break...
2) Oral sex generally is low risk for STDs - not zero risk, but definitely lower than vaginal/anal.
3) You cannot get an STD by kissing.

1) HIV can only be transmitted through unprotected sex.  If you wear a condom (and it doesn't break), your risk is very low.  Do not wear two condoms!!
2, 3, 4) There is really no such thing as "safe sex", only "safer sex."  Condoms greatly reduce the chance of acquiring an STD, but there is always some risk, since the condom does not cover the entire genital region.  I would look at the CDC website to learn more about common STDs.  I would say if you are having protected sex with multiple sex partners, you are at greatest risk for HPV (genital warts) and herpes.  I would also look at the "Ask the Doctor" forum - Dr. Handsfield is the expert, not me!!

Hope this helps..
