partner has Molluscum contagiosum

hello. my partner who i am sexually active with for 6 months has a small whitehead like wart/bump on his pubic region. He doesn't know how long he has had it but the doctor said it looks like Molluscum contagiosum. So what do we do now...? What should he do to get red of the virus as effictively as possible without spreading it etc? and What should I do now, should i cut off all sexual activity for a certain period of time? Do you think i may already have it? im stressin.... HELP PLEASE!! THANKS!

I agree - first off he needs to go and be seen and find out what is going on. no need to avoid sex at this point since you two have already been together for 6 months.  

if this is mc, they can remove it for him. odds are this is something else going on.

Best resource for treatment is going to be his Dr. I do not know that much about MC, go into the expert community and use the search field and look for MC, the Dr's do a great job of explaining transmission.
