Risk Assessment

About three weeks ago, I engaged in sexual relations with a partner with whose sexual history I am not privy. I received protected oral sex and had my scrotum and nipple sucked. Just recently, I've been suffering from some on-again, off-again joint pain/muscle tightness in my elbows and knees and was wondering if their is cause for concern. I've ruled out HIV but am still wondering what STDs I might have been at risk of catching and whether these STDs have symptoms such as joint or muscle pain.

Thank you for you time.

As Mitch said those symptoms have nothing to do with a STD.

I should also add that the pain from my joints is isolated for about twenty minutes and then moves to a different part of the body. First my elbows hurt, then my knees, then my neck, then my back. But only one part at a time. I'm a virgin and this was my only sexual contact of any kind, so I'm a little worried that this isn't just a ridiculous coincidence.

Thanks, Mitch. I just find it a bit coincidental that, three weeks after my first sexual experience of any kind, I seem to be having these joint pains and overall muscle fatigue. They come and go, all throughout my body and seem to occur only at night. Might this be Herpes or is the stress just getting to me?

No you are not as risk here, your symptoms are not indicative of an STD either
