please help.

Hi I am a 20 year old female. Have only had unprotected oral sex never vaginal or anal. Since mid December I have had extreme itchiness and burning In my vagina as well as white chunky dicharge I got checked and was told it was a yeast infection and was put on clotrimazole. This helped the itching but not the discharge. The discharge has a weird smell  not fishy tho. After I did the clotrimazole treatment the discharge is watery with very little itching. I got checked again. And was told it was bv. I had bv about 5 months prior to this but symptoms were different. I am on metronidazole. And I feel like it made things worse my vagina hurts in the inside after I insert the medication there's tons of discharge. I don't know if I should stop using it I only have two days left. I also have general body fatigue. I have not had any vaginal sores that I know of. The doctor said it didn't look like herpes so she hasn't tested me. Please help I don't know what it is

try squeezing luke warm water over your genital area several times a day for comfort. You also can use dermoplast spray ( the blue can for the genital area, not the red can ) to help.

if you are still itching a week after finishing the medication, return for further exam.

Thank you very much! Do you know how long it usually takes for the itching to be gone because that's the worst part. Today was my last of the medication.

discharge whilte treating for bv is normal. Even once you are done treating, it's not uncommon to get a thick , chunky discharge that might be white or grey - it's dead bacteria making its way out of the body and it will go away in a few days.

at this point, properly treat your bv and continue avoiding sex until things are back to normal down yonder.
