possible std?

Here's the back story:

I'm a 26 year old male, overweight, no illnesses that I know of.  Approx 3 weeks ago I had protected sex (oral and vaginal) with a prostitute (possibly a drug user now that I think about it).  Two days after that I was went swimming in a lake in a public park (fish in the lake, high levels of tannin, etc).  A few days after than my symptoms started.  There was a burning sensation when I urinated (somewhat painful) and the head of the penis (urethra area or the urethra itself) was mildly painful (burning) with no urination (not hurting but just enough to be noticed).  There was also stringy white things in my urine.  There was no discharge, rash, or bumps that I noticed.  A few days after that both inner thighs started to have a constant burning sensation and my inner lower legs were doing the same thing.  The crease in my groin was tender, my kidneys were tender, my lower abdomen felt like I had a bad upset stomach, and I also had lose stools.  The burning also moved from the tip of the penis to inside the shaft.  I went to see my doctor who put me on a week of levequin (500mg).  Almost all of the symptoms went away.

Now I still have the abdominal issues (no loose stools though) and the tip of the penis has that slight burn/uncomfortable feeling.  The white substance in the urine is gone and most of the burning on the legs is gone.  My right testicle was aching, but that has since stopped.  I did find a pimple (or what looked like a pimple) on a tender area of my scrotum by where my right testicle was aching.  It was small (maybe half or less the size of a BB), wasn't red, and had white puss in it.  I popped it before bed and it had oozed some more puss when I was sleeping, but hasn't do any noticeable oozing today.  I was tested for Chlamydia, Gonorrhea, and Syphilis at the start of the symptoms (all negative).

Any thoughts as to what this might be?  Thanks for your help.

Thanks for the reply.  I plan on going to the doc in the next day or two.  I'm hoping that you're right, it's just rather concerning.

I'd say either prostatitis or some funky bacteria you picked up in the lake.  I think the pimple is coincidence.

Since you are still having some symptoms, you should follow up with your doctor.
