yep I've gotten good results with fem dophilis myself. also now refresh proB is available in many drug stores and it has the same types of "good" bacteria in it too.  even when probiotics say they don't need refrigeration,  still a good idea to throw them in the fridge so they stay more potent longer.

sometimes breaking the bv cycle is very difficult :(

Oh this is near and not so dear to me.  :)

Use sugar -free, scent-free, taste-free, all free lubes.  You might even try non-lubed condoms if you use condoms.  Basic KY Jelly should work, and I never had any issues with silicone either.

Also, pay attention to other things you might be doing - use scent and dye free laundry detergent, no colored toilet paper, no douching, nothing but 100% cotton panties (some need to go dye free on the panties, some don't), no feminine or baby wipes, or "freshening" wipes, no scented or dyed soaps (use dove gentle or sensitive - it's everything-free - and just do basic cleansing, no need to scrub).

Try all that, and if your partners are female, then get your partner treated.  If your partners are male, and you have a regular partner (or more than one regular) see if you can get them treated.  Not all docs buy into men getting bv, but some will.

You might also try using a pro-biotic.  Jarrow's Femdophilous is a great one, and you can google Jarrow or try Whole Foods, etc.

Good luck!
