Fingering a Female

Hello,

I have read here that there is no risk in fingering a female. But I have also read that an exception is Herpetic Whitlow if the male has an open wound and the female has herpes.

I do not have an open "sore" on my finger. I also no not have any wounds from cuts or scrapes. But I do have hangnails. When this happens, the skin peels back, and you can see a tiny redness with a tiny drop of blood. Can this kind of "wound" lead to herpetic Whitlow.

Secondly, assuming I do contract Herpetic Whitlow, would it be local or systemic?
