You'll have to get STD tested. Now is fine to pick up any bacterial, 6 weeks is a pretty good mark for HIV, and 12 weeks for type-specific IgG herpes blood test.

i went to get my first screening today and i want to reassure any young person who is worried about going in to get a sexual health screening. The staff were so incredibly understanding and non-judgemental. All they asked for was a urine sample, there was no swabbing which had worried me, (athough i have no symptoms, i imagine someone with symptoms may need to be swabbed). The whole experience was extremely positive and i would reccommend anyone who is worried to go and get checked, it really puts your mind at rest.

however one point worth mentioning, they did say that in order to be sure that i had picked nothing up bacteria wise i had to be checked between 2 and 3 weeks after the incident, and so i am going to go back for a further screening.

One superb feature is that i can have my results texted to me, which is extremely convenient for me as a student, and a subtle way of receiving results.
