You should wait to have sex until you are done taking your antibiotics and even then give it a few days after. Your doctor should be having you come back for a follow up culture to make sure the antibiotic was effective so to be on the safe side I would wait until then. Also you need to make sure your partner was adequately treated as well.
If you go to the doctor they can give you a shot I believe (of medication) and within 2 days or so you should be cleared up.
