Is cipro (ciprofloxacin) effective for gonorrhea and chlamydia?

Cipro might treat those infections but is not what most Dr's prescribe.

a dr did prescribe it for me.  however, test results aren't back.  it could be something else but he didn't eliminate an std.

We don't advice with self medication. If you have not see a Dr, then see a Dr for testing and he/she will give you proper medication to treat an infection.
