do i have std or guilt?

I have a girlfriend, but I had a homosexual encounter a few days ago, where i gave oral sex/hand job with a condom. Within a couple of hours, i had a slight tingling/pain at head of my penis. that has continued now for a few days. don't really have much burning when i pee, no discharge at this point. (i had chlamydia in college, and remember the greenish/clear discharge and real burning upon urination).

Sometimes the symptoms go away for a while, other times they kind of hurt, discomfort at head of penis and at base of shaft.

So, is this possibly an STD, or is it true that guilt/anxiety can cause this? Symptoms within hours seems pretty unlikely from what I've read. I definitely feel bad about the encounter for several reasons. I also had a one-nighter with a girl a few years ago and seem to remember similar feelings, but I went ahead and saw a doc to get some anti-biotics.

If I do decide to go the doc route, how long should I wait or can I start taking antibiotics at any time?

Thanks

thanks for your reply, grace. that would certainly be the best answer i could hope for.

so, regarding the pain/discomfort in my penis (some times at head of penis, sometimes at bottom of shaft), should i do anything about it? how long might it continue?

is it possibly some of the prostatitis brought on by the anxiety?

is this reaction at all common?

thanks again, really appreciate the help!

no, my penis was not touched. i washed my hands with soap and hot water after the encounter before touching myself.

I should also add that I was diagnosed with prostititis in college where i had testicular pain. Wondering if that may cause similar symptoms that i'm having now.....
