std risk?

If someone with hpv and other stds touches their genitals and then touches a faucet can you get hpv or stds by touching the faucet right after? Also if I touch my genitals then change my baby's diaper can she get hpv or any std? Thanks.

The short answer is no.  Hpv must be rubbed into the skin.  For example, an infected penis rubbing into a woman during sex.  You can not pass other stds by touching your genital area and than by touching a sink.  We would all be in trouble if this happened.
