std's

After having unprotected sex two days ago, I developed painful urination and penis soreness. My Dr. gave me Levaquin. I feel better already. Am I still contagious?

If this is an std, then assume you are contagious for 7 days, but to be honest, it boggles the mind that you would consider having unprotected sex when you might have just gotten an std.

Avoid sex for 7 days, notify recent partners, and don't have sex with them again until they are all treated.

Thanks Vance, they gave me a urine test and it showed no problems but a tiny bit of blood in the urine-they said take the med and come back next week for another urine test.

Were you tested for anything or did he just give you medication?
If you had an STD most places will tell you not to have sex for 1-2 weeks.
