swelling in groin after molluscum diagnosis

hello,
i last had sex about 5 weeks ago.  before that it was approx 3 months ago. i was diagnosed with Molluscum about 3 weeks ago. The doctor tried treating them by freezing them off. Some healed and disappeared, others didnt so she did a repeat freeze of them last week. Now i have a large swollen knot on each side of my groin. can this be explained by molluscum or could there possibly be another STD involved?
any thoughts greatly appreciated.

Nope, your doc is doing the right thing, and you have to wait for the results.

I'd wonder if something is infected in there, and you should follow up with your doctor promptly.  It might just be swollen glands as part of the healing process, but you need to get it checked.
