HSV Test Results

Hello Doctors. Thanks for taking the time to answer my question.

I was tested recently for HIV, HSV TYPE 2-Specific, TSH, Thyroxine and RPR. The following are the results. Could you please interpret them for me? I have not spoken to my doctor yet, but would like a first opinion before I hear what she has to say.

      HSV 2 IgG, Tyoe Spec             <.91                      Index 0.00 -  0.90
                                                                                 Negative      1.09

TSH                      1.322                              uIU/ml                         0.450 - 4.500

It would appear your HIV results are Neg. (for proper readings see the HIV forum)
It would also appear your HSV is neg (for proper readings see the Herpes Forum)

You TSH levels are normal but you should talk to your doctor about

Your T4 is a bit high... not eleveated over 12.5 but a bit close... I don't know if your doc. suggested it but I would do a follow up test for your Throxine T4.

I don't see the T3... did you get that done?

And your RPR is negative.

Not the Dr's site, and it looks pretty good but I do not have much knowledge on reading tests so I am not comfortable tell you results I can not be 100% sure on.
What you can do is pay for the Dr's to interpet the results or you can post in the HIV community and HSV community and I believe they will have the knowledge to help you out in those 2 categories.
