Aobut a month ago i had unprotected oral sex from a stranger i met and i kissed her beofr i got the oral sex. About 2-3 days later, i started to have a sore throat and spit alot of mucus. Then i coincidently saw ehr again and she gave me oral sex(unprotected), and since then my testicles have been hurting so the doctor prscribed azothromycin but i haven gotten my tests yet. I want to know is azothromycin can cure both if i have chlamydia in my mouth and penis. And also how long before teh mucus stops and the testicular pain stops afetr using the medicine

how long do u need to have chlamyida before u egt epididymtis or prostasis

It wouldn't be PID, but it could be prostatitis or epididymitis.

If its not improving at all, then you should follow up with your doc.

becuase as u kno i ve gotten meds from azithromycin on mrch 26 so i want to knwo if that could be the side effect of chlamydia or gonorrhea and i got treated for both and onyl my left testicelis hurting and it feels liek my pelvies hurt a lil too could it be PID, i am a male

This is sounding more like prostatitis every day.

I already answered that.  It can take a full week - 7 days - for the meds to work.

If its not gone after this period of time, then follow up with your doc.

well now the mucus in my motuh has cleared up
but i am still feeling testicular pain
and as i stated i had gotten the medication for apo-ciproflox and azithromycin on wednesdat at 5pm, so i would like to know when the effect of testicular pain will stop so i can stop worrying and being concerned and move on

Cipro might cure gonorrhea.  There are several resistant strains, so I would definitely re-test in a month or so to make sure its gone.

OK sometimes meds have different names in different countries.  You should find out the names of the meds you took.

oo no i live in canada
but i specificalluy remember the doctor tellin me that he giving me two medications to fight both gonorrhea and chlamydia sicne they both accompnay one another

I can't figure out what the other medication is.  Are you in the US?

It can take a few days before you start seeing real improvement of symptoms, and the azithromycin can take a full 7 days to totally work.  Its still working in your body.

and sry i had to take nother 4 grams of something i forgot the meds becase i was allergic to penicillin, i dont know if it relates to the gonorrhea treatment.

hi sry i also got another drug i forgot but it srtared with an "a" and he said that since gonorhhea accompany chlamyida he gave me the medicine to treat both, well my mucus is clearing up, but my testicles are still in pain,how long till they stop hurting after medication from using azithromcyin and the other medicine

Yes, it will cure chlamydia, but its not common to get chlamydia in your mouth.

Its far more common to get gonorrhea in your mouth, and the meds you got won't cure that.

Did you also get a throat swab to test orally?

and also i have lymph nodes in my groin and side of my neck
