Worried after unprotected oral sex

I feel very foolish and worried.  I had unprotected oral sex with a male friend who I know is promiscuous.  I know that only a few days earlier he had casual unprotected anal sex with a girl and yet I still went through with it.

I hadn't intended him to come in my mouth (but it happened very quickly and I pulled away as soon as I tasted the first of it). I don't have sores but suffer from bleeding gums fairly regularly.

I am very stressed out now that I may have caught oral Gonorrhea or HIV and don't know how to deal with this... How soon should I wait before being tested? I have been tested for stds just a few weeks ago, which was all clear but now I feel like a real idiot.  I've never considered getting tested for oral stds even though I don't have protected oral sex.

I have just started seeing someone who I am very fond off and feel horrific at the thought that I may be about to pass on something to him in return.

I'm very upset and any advice would help

What you can get from oral sex:
Gonorrhea, herpes and syphilis.
It is uncommon to get a STD from oral sex but it is possible. testing times are Gonorrhea-1 week throat swab, herpes-4 months, syphilis-6 weeks.
Gonorrhea and herpes are the most common, but it is low risk.

Since you are worried I would get a throat swab done after 1 week to be sure. Hepes is possible but your friend would know if he has herpes so if he was given negative just a month ago I would not worry about that. And syphilis is rare in developed countries and unless he has sex with men I would not worry at all about that.

Something to remember and pass on to your friend...use condoms. He is going to get something if he keeps having unprotected sex.

In addition, he also got the all clear about a month ago... but I have no idea what he could have picked up recently.

How likely is it that I could have picked something up?  He didn't *** fully in my mouth, but I'm still very very worried.
