would PID go away when treated for chlamydia

Recently tested positive for chlamydia. My only symptom was sex during sex in certain positions in the pelvic/stomach area. I was treated with 4 pills of single dose azithromycin 2 days ago and I forgot to mention the pain. I am scared I have pelvic inflammatory disease. Would chlamydia treatment treat that? Would I even have PID? I would have contacted chlamydia I think early June
