burning

Im not sure if it was a lesion or outbreak. I went to my doctor and they said it was not either. After about 3 weeks with my sexual partner for the first time, I developed some type of cut or sore, but I noticed it due to me masturbating as result of a bandaid on my thumb, and the area of the plastic on my thumb matched the area of the scrotum where I usually have it. So a cut or sore like thing developed 1/4 the size of a pencil head eraser I suppose. I was alarmed and later some form of flakeyness developed on the other side of my shaft and tip of my head and the skin tissue was peeling off and some clear substance came out from the fresh layer of skin that peeled off.

I went to my doctor and he said that neither was to be alarmed over. The flakeyness was due to I suppose to much rubbing or some infection, so I got cream perscribed. The other area he did not really get a culture for or bother testing, which now I feel was a mistake after reading so much about the subject since something capable of being diagnosed has already healed. He said it was nothing to be alarmed about, but now im worried.

After my very first sexual experience, I developed prolonged burning in my legs, primarily my groin, thighs, and calves. After many negative std tests later, this problem still persisted for nearly 2 years and went away for about 5 months. My new partner is negative for diseases but I understand some are not quite capable of being tested for. Im just wondering since coincidental things on my penis occured and the feeling in my legs have come back and have yet to go away for nearly a month. Im just worried to what this may have been since all this has started just because of having sex. Any advice on what to do or what may be going on is much appreciated.

I completely understand.  I did get major anxiety due to the symptoms after having sex the first time, but since than, I don't really develop anxiety unless some unusual feeling in my body occurs as it did most recently.  I had another partner and I didn't get this way because nothing ever led me to think something may be wrong.  I just find it weird for it to happen with this partner I have now and for these symptoms especially on my penis to occur now and not then with my prior partner.  I think I have a skin problem, but yes, I know a lot has to do with my own personal thinking.  I just want to know if it is safe to cross out a form of STD, even if by chance it is HSV 1 since im not experiencing no outbreaks but only this constant burning in my thighs.  Thank you.

Maybe anxiety about having sex? Burning in your legs, groin, et. al, for 2 years is a little much. Sounds psychosomatic to me.

If you have anxiety about having sexual relationships, you need to 1) refrain from having sex, and 2) get some help for it - antidepressants, therapy, anti-anxiety medication, whatever.
