STD?

Ok my medical history is quite long with this one.
In the summer i had been treated with vibramicyn for a possible infection after my urologist suggested it. Then 3 weeks in my medication I decited to do a semen culture and it turned back with  Staphylococcus and the anti-biotics perscribed was ciproxyn. for another 3 weeks  and so i did. Then after 1 month i did a urethral swab and they found candida infection which was treated with anti - fungal. All this happened from july to august.

One week ago i started feeling some discomfort and i went to see my doctor in the testicle. I have been operated on my left testicle for a variocele.
He ditected some post surgury problems but nothing serious and he decited to do a sperm - diagram which was good In terms of semen quality but he detected some (i dont know if i say this right) inflamination that was in the semen and i think mucus.....
So he says to do a semen culture again. But i did not have any unprotected sex after my medication.... so what may be happening?

Did the anti-biotics malfunctioned or something?

staph is pretty common and is typically considered a contaminent in urine cultures.  most of the time it isn't even treated unless it's MRSA.

inflammation isn't unusual with infections.

continue to follow up with an urologist as needed.

did you get full std testing done that you are posting here?
