I went back on the pill this year near the end of November, after stopping it last December (2010). Stupidly I didn't refresh my memory and check the booklet, which states that you have to start taking the pill when you start your period. I didn't do this - PLEASE HELP, I don't know what to do.

Well since you've continued to take them you might as well finish them..... I would definitely recommend you call your Dr and inform him/her of what happend. He/She will have the best answer for you:)
So, I'm about halfway through the strip, I'll just leave it and when I get my period, start a new strip, and stop it when I finish it?

Sorry I'm really confused! When I was last on the pill, I wasn't having sex. I just had to take it because I was on medication called Roaccutane, which you have to take the pill with, so it wasn't because I was sexually active, so I don't really know how to use it properly!

Just stop taking it and wait this cycle out. Then start a new batch on your next cycle. Make sure you start it when you get your next period.
