Post Sex Burning Sensation

About 3 weeks ago I had sex with a prostitute, and am now realising the error of my ways.

During the sex, a significant amount of vaginal fluid was secreted from her whilst on top.
Afterwards I noticed it was all over my scrotum (which I shave) and the area between anus and genital.
I did not notice any strange smell or colouring of it.

I had a condom on and did not notice any breakage and she was very careful in removing it.

Since this night I have had severe redness on my scrotum and a burning / tingling / prickly sensation.
I have also had a scratchy sensation in my bottom crack and near / in the anus.
And had one episode of diorrhea

The symptoms started about 36 hours after sex.

I have had no sores, no pain during urination, no penis discharge.

My questions are:
- what could have been transmitted to my shaved scrotum or what could have been transmitted via the fluif seeping near / in my anus ?
- what are the possible STD / STIs that fit my symptoms ?
- to cover the possibility of coincidence or anxiety related issue, any other thoughts on possible causes ?

Thanks in anticipation

Thanks for your sensible comments - I certainly hope you are right re the razor burn
I had shaved numerous times before- each time using a proper razor - but never has this occurred.

In the last day or two I have noticed a lessening of the scrotal sensitivity, although the redness is still there and my anus is still scratchy. I have also felt fatigued, but am hoping this is just lack of sleep.

My doctor is also the family doctor so I have been reluctant to see him so far, but if it persists another few days I will have to go.

wow.... well it really sounds like you have that inevitable razor burn.  i don't know how often you have shaved in the past or if this was a new thing. but i know woman who shave can vouch for me on this that the return of hair *****!  i get bad razor burn often and it itches and burns bad.... usually speaking the justation period for most std's is at the least, 10-14days.  diarrhea could just be from your anxiousness of what maybe to come, so calm down, this is a wait and see game, you know?  if it ends up being razor burn then i would suggest using clippers like my bf and not any type of actual razor, that is if that is what you used. hope this helps
