Vaginal pain

Hey, I'm really thankful for responses and such, because this problem has been troubling me for quite a while, and it'll be really great if I can find any help or solutions to it.

I'm 16 years old, with a boyfriend, and he's my the only partner for sex I ever had. It didn't hurt so much in the beginning, but for the past few months, I keep experiencing pain in my vagina when we are having an intercourse. We haven't been trying to have sex since then, but about 2 ~ 3 days ago, I started experiencing sharp pain around my vaginal area, and I noticed that the whole area seems to be swollen beyond normal, and the whole area is covered with little bumps that I can feel, and it hurts a lot when I go to the toilet and when I touch it. Is this a problem, or is it just something that will go away after a while?

It could be a simple yeast infection or another type of infection. However you really need to check and see what it is and not let it go.

If you are experiencing a lot of pain when using the bathroom, you might have a UTI, urinary tract infection.  The swelling and bumps, however, sound a little bit like syphilis, though if he is your first sexual partner and you are his, that is highly unlikely.  I would suggest seeing your gynecologist soon, just in case it is something serious
