What can this be?

Hi
About 2 months ago now I had an encounter with a sex worker. We did not have sex or oral sex. She rubbed her vagina for a few seconds then rubbed the tip of my penis for a few seconds then gave me a very brief handjob before I stopped it. The next day I noticed a bit of redness on my penis and didn't think anything of it. But gradually I realised there was some red dots around my penis after I masturbate and ejaculate. My penis now seems to have white penile papules which I have told are not dangerous or spread sexually but I have never noticed them before and dry cracked lines on the tip of my penis. I've been worried that it is herpes but after seeing a doctor they said it's a yeast infection so they have me cream but it hasn't worked and nothing seems to be happening. My penis still has cracked lines and they are more noticeable when the penis is erect. I'm just worried what this can be. Would be really grateful if someone was to help.
Thanks

Thanks again this is helping! Just wondering, how come I noticed symptoms on my penis the day after this encounter? There was redness and red dots on my penis the day after this even happened? Can yeast infections or any other fungal infection symptoms even appear the day after an encounter like this?

You may need a different medication. I would ask your Dr to specifically check for a yeast infection. If you do indeed have one and you're having intercourse with your partner she can have this. If the two of you are not both treated you will keep passing it back and forth.

Thank you very much!! Just wondering if it was a yeast infection how come it's taking so long to clear? It's looking better now mind but still can see the cracked lines and redness on penis. The white penile papules only sometimes look visible. Do you think this can be anything else? I'm very worried this is HPV

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
It does not look like herpes which presents as painful blisters but it can be due to yeast skin infection. Most cases respond to over-the-counter products, which contain any of several basic ingredients: miconazole, tolnaftate, terbinafine, ketaconazole and clotrimazole. You can consult a pharmacist and get any cream or lotion containing these ingredients.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
