if it is just BV or a yeast infection, goldenseal and/or garlic tablets three times a day for four days/one week straight will clear it up, no problem.

-but if you have a serious infection or STD it won't do much, and you will need to see a doctor. in fact, even if you clear up your infection, you might still want to get checked. if he would lie about "having to be clean to box" (i've been boxing many, many years and that is definitely not true) then he would probably lie about having an STD if he knew beforehand.

condoms are definitely your friend.:)

You don't have to be "clean" to be a boxer.  As for getting an STD, it would be too soon to know. Never, Never have unprotected sex.  Just get tested. As for the smell, it could be almost anything.  See a doctor.

Sorry to inform you but he lied about that 'having to be clean to box' thing. Ive participated in all kinds of combat sports including boxing, and I was never subject to any tests for STDs. I have known others in the sport who contacted STDs and continued to participate.

He probably told you this because he has an STD and wanted to have unprotected sex with you. I think you contracted a STD from him.
