penis burn

hiya,
I have been experinceing this penis tip burn and frequent pee(pee drops) for 2 days. It all started after masturbation, even though have been masturbating regularly all my life but nothing ever happend.

I have been to doctor, there is no infection , just was told to wait and it should go down. Could anyone plz help me what happened and what would be the easy cure as its really doing my head in , making me tired and drained.
regards,

Prostate infections can have a range of symptoms.  Usually, you'd have urinary frequency, a feeling like you still have to urinate even after you go, possibly pain or discomfort in and around the prostate and along the urethra and pelvic area, and sometime a bit of blood in the urine.  Or, sometimes very few of those symptoms.  It can be a fooler.

yea , i wasnt checked for semen , which hopefully going to be done this week. For now iam drinking lots of water. Some one told me that cranberry juice does help , not sure about that.
Could some one explain me what would be the symptoms of prostate infection. I do have penis burn, but i still can take it..

Thanx for the help

I'm a bit surprised that there's no infection, but you should know that a urinalysis doesn't necessarily pick up a prostate infection.  To test the prostate for infection, you have to give a semen sample for analysis.   If you have a prostate infection, it can cause enough irritation of the urethra to explain your pain.  If you haven't had your semen checked, that would be next.  If you've had everything checked for bacteria and you are clear, try a hot bath every day for at least 20 minutes--two baths if you can stand it.  Drink a lot of water, and see if that helps.
