you should take a second test just to be sure. They are not 100% positive all the time.
you can never be too careful.

I've been taking Yasmin 28 for nearly two years. As far as waiting for your period, it's supposed to happen during that week you are not taking pills (Yasmin 28 has placebos that I take during that week so I don't forget to start a new pack). I'm also waiting for my period, but it's almost two weeks late and all the tests I've taken are coming back negative.

When I started taking Yasmin, my doctor told me not to have unprotected sex for at least the first three weeks because it takes time for your body to adjust. The pharmacist told me to wait one month, and  the information packet with the pills says to use a back up method for the first seven days. I'm not sure if any of that helps you, but I can say that if your period is late, wait another day and then take a pregnancy test.

Hope that gives you some help. :)

Sorry but, did you look at the packaging? Or visit the companys website? I've never heard of yasmin so i wont be much help.  You could also call a pharmacy?

As far as waiting for a period, i've been waiting for 10 months. After you stop some forms of birth control it just messes you up.
