Blocked Sinus, Ears, Facial Numbness feeling awful for almost a year now !

Around April last year I had a bad sinus infection, triggered by seasonal allergies. I had a bad post nasal drip, and although the sinus didn't feel blocked, XRays showed it was.  I was experiencing facial tightness and tingling sensation around the same time as my sinus issues started.  It was also a highly stressful period in my life.  I had multiple courses of steroids, antibiotics, over the counter medication, the sinus issue remains.  My doctor has sent me for MRI of the brain as he does not think the facial numbness and tightening is related to my sinus issues, but I really feel it is.  Has anyone else had issues with facial tightness, tingling and almost feeling like their cheek is numb due to sinus ? This only occurs on the one side of my face, my ear on that side is now always blocked also. Its driving me crazy.  I am taking flonase daily (per doctor reccommendations) but this is insane....its been practically a year and I am getting concerned.  I have changed my diet dramatically, I am eating only whole foods and nothing processed....nothing makes any difference.

If you were diagnosed with sinus infection, it may still be there.  This will remove any trace of bacterial infection, and if it does not work, you will at least have removed one possible cause.
