Does your compliance data show that you're using it effectively for most of the night, every night? If so, this is a common situation, where you're using the xPAP machine but you don't feel significant better. Sometimes, it can take months to over one year. But if you've been using it for a few years, one thing to look at is, is it on the right pressure? Your xPAP pressure can change significantly in a few years, especially if your weight changes. You may need a new titration. Talk to your sleep doctor about your problems.
Hi Doc,
Thanks for your feedback. My titration is on a very high setting. I have been using this for a few years. I agree with you. I need to see a sleep doctor. So I just got a referral from my PCP to see him. He is also a Pulmonologist. My concern is, the chronic head pain I have. It has been diagnosed with migraine. I have tried all the meds. Migraine is episodic yet I am on sever pain all day every day. So perhaps the lack of real sleep is generating the chronic pain? So, if I am using a BIPAP which eliminates the apneatic episodes, yet I am still not deep sleeping, then why am I now deep sleeping?
Thank you for your contribution you make to all of the people on this forum.
