Counting sheep

Do you remember a particular thing you did as a child that helped to put yourself to sleep?

I used to tell myself stories where I was the hero - all sorts of fun stories - infact  I still do to some degree - just the subject matter changed.

I have also done serious imagery using my horse as a focus spot :) really would get indepth imagining every little detail about her - or about a show jumping round or whatever - I feel that also helped me when I rode.

Thanks for your response. Is there a specific product or treatment that has actually helped you to go to sleep?

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello and hope you are doing well.

Yes, counting sheep was one way; it was suppose to tire you and to gradually make you sleep. There are other ways too, try to have a warm bath before sleeping. Have a glass of milk or read a book before trying to sleep. Don’t watch TV or do exercise before sleeping. Condition yourself that you can relax and that you can sleep well.

Hope this helped and do keep us posted.
