Can remeron cause anxiety

Ive had some severe insomnia   like iw would lay down and start to hullicate right away so i kno they werent dreams, also  i cant yawn and i have a head pressure thet builds up
  i was jus wonderin if the remeron could have something to do with that

Abnormal dreams, confusion and abnormal thinking are observed as side effects of remeron. You should visit your treating doctor for an evaluation. He may want to change the dose or try a different medication.

Somnolence is a common adverse event that occurs with the use of Remeron (mirtazapine).
It is due to this sedative effect that mirtazapine is prescribed off label to treat insomnia. Insomnia is not an adverse effect seen with this medication.
