Hi, Thanks again for your response. Yes, it would be a right idea to get a counseling to track down the stress level and also to find out ways how to cope up with the new challenging life and new job you are going to take up. Always do think in a positive way to overcome a problem and there would be certain solution. Do speak to your new partner of some of problems and see what he suggests and how you both can do well in future. Keep in mind of just thinking about future plans when you speak to your partner and don't get him in your past. Do take frequent breaks and try to relax when you feel exhausted or overloaded with your work. Keep updating on your visits. Take care.

Hi Icegems, thanks for your reply and having shared your thoughts. I do understand how might be going through this tough period of life. It may be difficult to forget your bad times but it is certainly possible. You need to wait for some more time and keep concentrating and thinking about your future only, As you said now you are with your new partner, you need to get along with him with all new hopes and just kick off a whole new life of comfortable life. Your past is not going to give you anything, then why waste your time on it. You need to focus on your new job which might also be challenging, do your best and you will do it. Keep visiting your doctor for a follow up every month. Do post your thoughts and update on your progress. Take care and good luck.

Hi Icegems, How are you doing? Hope you might be doing better now? Are you still getting the same frightening dreams while sleeping or are you able to get over the stress you seemed to be probably going through. Have you been to your doctor for a follow up and an update on current medication? Do spend more time with your family members or close relative/friends so you can forget the very thought of past incidents and whatever dreams. Relax and do stretches, go out for short vacations and try to concentrate on your work. Do consult your doctor and update on your progress. Take care.

Hi, relax! you seemed to be under stress and feel disturbed. It is quite sometime that incident had taken place and by now you should have come out of it. You might have been deeply impacted by that incident so not able to forget fully or may be you keep recollecting it often. These sleep terrors are very common in childrens but do affect adults. Are you alone now a days or live with your partner or family. Are you taking any medication regularly. Has Fluoxitine been prescribed to you? you can continue, also consider psychotherapy by consultation. Do morning-evening walk, stretches, learn relaxation techniques, have nutritious diet with lot of water or other liquids, have hot shower and listen to soft music before going to bed, these can be soothing to mind and body so it may be of some help.Hope you will soon enjoy your normal life. Keep posting your thoughts. Take care.
