sugar withdrawal? I thought there were alcohol or cigarret withdrawal but sugar is a new thing.
Maybe I should try quitting sugar, but I don't drink nor smoke and without coffee... it's gonna be hell for some time. :)
But it'd be worth. :) Thanks for advice.
There is such a thing as sugar withdrawal. I have witnessed it. The more information you give, the more I think your problem is nutritional. And a bad diet can screw up your endocrine system. But if it has you still have to address the diet first because that would be the cause.
Appreciate your replies guys. :)
allmymarbles/I'm definitely not eating healthy and I love sugar. But the irony is, if I don't eat sugar I sleep too much. I don't know why. and if I eat sugar, I become too anxious. Sugar or no sugar both make me crazy. I'm trying to quit coffee recently, no smoking no drinking, so sugar is only stimulant.
Confused :(
Paderla.../Normally I want to sleep 14-16hrs!!... can't live like that.. But you're right about lifestyle. I exercise irregularly and eat many processed foods. Though I don't smoke nor drink but I love soda pop and chocolate.
Wish there were magic pill but maybe this is time to change my life style entirely.
Hello and hope you are doing well.
It may just be that you are tired and need more sleep. Give yourself more time to sleep. Continue with your medications for now but slowly ensure to develop good lifestyle measures to combat anxiety.. Exercise regularly. Eliminate alcohol, stop smoking and avoid caffeinated beverages. Practice relaxation techniques like yoga and meditation and avoid becoming overanxious. This will help to reduce the severity of symptoms. Get professional counseling if required. And Keep It!!
Hope this helped and do keep us posted.
I would look for a nutritional problem. Also I would take a balanced vitamin and mineral supplement. If you are on a high sugar diet, it might contribute to your wake/sleep problem and would account for your being wired.
