Well the women in my family have a history of early on set dementia, I know being 23 is a little early for that. I am also afraid of the dark so i have a night light everyone else here needs it to be super dark to sleep, I cant i get paranoid.  I don't have health insurance so its hard to get all that stuff done and pay it out of pocket. Thank you both for your help.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hi, welcome to the forum, you need a detailed evaluation. In such cases it is very important to note any other conditions like eye problems, stress, confusion, memory loss, alcohol, drug, and medication history is also important.

Conditions which can present with such symptoms are Migraine (aura manifests as visual hallucination), Seizures, Alcohol and drug use, psychiatric illness and metabolic encephalopathy. Any family history of any such occurrences is also important.

You need to undergo polysomnyography (PSG) to rule out sleep disorder, EEG to rule out any epileptic foci, and also psychiatric evaluation which will help to rule out any factor.

I suggest you to sleep with lights on, good sleep hygiene, long acting sedatives against prescription will help you maintain sleep, keep away from any triggering factor (smell, food etc. need to be identified.), share your inner feelings with family and friends, hot and cold water bath will help you to alleviate condition.

I suggest you to consult neurophysician/psychiatrist for further evaluation. Take care and regards.

No, you're not going crazy at all!!

If your depression meds are making your symptoms worse, you definitely need to let your doctor know.  This actually is pretty common with some of those types of meds with teens and young adults.  It could be that they just need to change your med to something different.  It could also be that if you depression meds are making your symptoms worse, that is why the anxiety meds are not helping as much as they should - because your other symptoms are increased, it's kinda like they're working against one another.

Please definitely call your doctor and let them know what's going on - it very well could be as easy as changing your current meds.
