I started taking Nuvigil and it really helps me. I am no longer sleepy and concentrate better. No more naps to get through the day!
Hello and hope you are doing well.
Understand your predicament. Positional therapy is known to help some people with obstructive sleep apnea. Lying on the back can promote air way collapse due to the effect of gravity. So, to counter this you can sleep on your side and you can use pillows on the front and back to support you. Also, if any nasal blocks try to keep them patent with OTC nasal decongestants.
Hope This Helped and Do Keep Us Posted.
thanks for the info I def going to call them and find out
I am sorry you are feeling this way. I too, have sleep apnea and was so debilitated that basic things were very difficult - taking a shower, cleaning, cooking - I was so tired. Can you call your sleep clinic for a temporary loaner cpap - this is what I did while waiting for my cpap. Also, try to sleep with your head elevated, head and chin pointed back kind of in a cpr position - thereby opening your airway while your sleep. Also make sure you don't eat anything 3-4 before bedtime.
