Pray for Wisdom, the understanding of Gods Word.
I can read a verse or chapters in the bible and one day God turns on the lightbulb in my head and I get it YES! I very well could have read that more than once and not gotten it.
An elder in the church once told me, left an impression in my mind. I was very adamant about not watching preachers on tv because I was afraid of false teachings going in but if you stay in the Word...you can pick out a false teacher and there are very good teachers of the Word on televison. They told me eat the "meat" and spit out the bones. This has to be done with a bible to back it up or memory...has it ever crossed your mind that one day here in the Untied States it could become illegal to openly Worship the Lord and have a bible? Than what??? Today people still die for reading the bible all over the world :sad:..ok off topic sorry ooops :)
Being Spiritual comes from the Spirit Living inside of you, other than that you do it in the flesh..has no heavenly gain...it's in your heart..unfortunatly as long as we walk in the flesh we will all stumble, I just hope when my Light Shines it Shines to the Glory of God through Christ Jesus! most days I'm know I fail :banginghead: but God knows our hearts and He brings forth the harvest in His Time for His Time is Perfect <3

Yes...I meant it as to definitions and how others interpret it. There is much to learn :-)))
What do you mean.. like how do i avoid being spiritual confused by false doctrine? or Do I sometimes feel confused with things I believe in?
I don't really think I have been confused by false doctrine. I don't watch religious things on cable and basic tv cuz they are soooo misleading. They mix a little bit of truth with error and I'd rather not deal with it. Sometimes though I'll watch it and ignore the bad I hear like eating watermelon - eat the fruit, spit out the seeds. Since I believe I'm grounded in what I believe, I don't really feel it will make me doubt or change what I believe.
