Wow- I greet it rushing everyday to get out the door in time to make it to work.
Once I get there I can gather my thoughts for a few moments & focus on what
on the importance of the day.
Reaaly dont even know what Tai Chi is but think its a type of meditation?
Lisa
LOL...maybe someone would grace us with their experience with it. I heard good things about it and how you start the day with it. I looked it up on Youtube :-)) and got a book/dvd from my local library. Looks like it will take a bit to learn it, but worth considering :-))))
I have never used Tia Chi maybe I should. I am not a morning person, especially if someone wakes me up.
LOL..you are the one to throw "pillows" or "alarm clocks"...anything in your reach at me when I wake you up....:-)))))
As I am up before dawn much of the year, I will pause on the way to my vehicle and take in the sights around me: sky, stars, moon, streetlights, shadows...silhouettes of night birds and bats hunting bugs.
I close my eyes and breathe deep, especially when there is a breeze...the early morning air is so fresh, clean of the smells of civilization.
I listen, the sounds of man are very faint at that hour, if I am lucky, the owl, which lives in the copse of trees a couple of houses away will call out..this always brings a thrill.
I pause and thank the Holy for another day on the topside of the grass...
:-)) Pipar....topside of the grass is better than pushing up daisies...lol! It is good to take deep breaths in ...smell of cherry wood is a special delight...flowers too...so fleeting in the summer but memorable.
