Howdy. I think its a very personal matter, its not necessary to go through others to attain, though many find their own path as a result of fellowship with others. To me, its the relationship with a power much greater than myself or any other human. Its a source of meaning, refuge, and inspiration. And I think it manifests itself in many ways- being able to appreciate daily life, providing a purpose for even the most insignificant things, a first kiss, a sunset, a newborn baby's first cry, the emotion and inspiration conveyed by a musical or poetic creation, the desire to live, the acceptance of death and so much more. I call this power God, but do not, and while on this earth likely will never, fully understand and comprehend it. It is not limited by religion or any other predetermined and excluding set of rigid principles. It is the essence of that which makes this life worthwhile. That's my perception of spirituality, as best as my limited consciousness can relate it. Take care, GM
Good question and one that some in each generation will undoubtedly ask along with zillions of other questions.
Is there a clear answer? Is it personal? Does it involve honesty...imagination...creativity....emotion....thought.....desire.....? Does it matter?
We each have our own answer and choose whether we will or won't share in the open. Some may never give much thought to it. Others may guard it like a hidden treasure.
